I love the holidays because my friends get to come over and play.
door neighbour’s house has heaps of lemons. So we sneaked over the wire fence to get about 12 lemons so we could make lemon juice. One day Ruby came over on a wera and
makariri day. Then me and Ruby went on the quad. On the quad me and Ruby went to my next door neighbour’s house. Me next Once we had filled your t,shirts with lemons we crawled back under the wire fences. We run back up the hill to the quad so we could drive back to my house to make lemon juice.
Unfortunately my grumpy mother wouldn't let us make lemon juice but I bet my dad will let us - so I'll ask my dad next time.
HI Jorja - I really enjoyed reading your story - not too sure about the grumpy mother bit but it made me smile because it was so true. I really enjoyed that you girls thought about what you were going to do with the lemons. Excellent writing - keep up the great work.
