Retelling - A knee for a cat

A good knee for a cat is about a cat  who wanted to go on someone's knee but Aunt Jane and Ann are coming today.

Punch wanted Vicky and tried to go on her knee but Vicky said do get off me because  I have to tidy up my room.

Punch tried  to go on Peter's knee but Peter stood up and Punch full off.

Aunt Jane and Ann arrived so Peter pushed Ann's wheelchair in. Mum said "want about a cup of tea?"

Ann looked at Punch Punch looked at Ann Ann said I have a cat but it is very frightened. Punch sneft Anns wheelchair and jumped on.

Ann stroked punch in just the right way. Punch's paws went up and down. He likes me Ann said he likes my knee.

Ann went around the house with Vicky and Peter then they play cards.

The cat thought a wheelchair knee is the best spot to sleep.

  2. Well done Jorja - you worked very hard on retelling this story at home. I really like how you have retold in order and are experimenting with using a variety of punctuation. Keep it up!

  3. I liked how you tried your best to get the spelling right and to re-tell every juicy bit of the story. I think you'll be a great writer when you grow up!
